My avid readers may know that I essentially have two “blogs:” the one you’re reading, and the one dedicated to my car. Yes, feel free to insert snide car obsession comments here. Anyway, does it make sense for me to segregate like this? My reasoning was that most people would just get turned off by a guy blabbering incessantly about his car, but that the gearheads wouldn’t mind clicking to a different page to share my mild psychosis. I think I’ll keep them separate for now, but this may change in the future.

For once, Kim and I had a weekend at home. I managed to mow the lawn for the first time in almost a month, which is good…because the lawn can only be mowed after I clean up Taylor’s…uh….deposits. Our lawn is now neatly cropped, but it still looks like crap because of two things. One, walking up and down the middle of the lawn while Taylor does her depositing has left a path of trampled, yellowing grass. Two, the parts of the yard where Taylor leaves her liquid deposits have given up on life. There is an ever-increasing area of splotchy dead grass. Eventually, I plan to tear up all of the old sod and replace it with something hardier. Then, I’ll put some stepping stones down the middle, and find out if there’s anything I can do about the dog’s homicidal pee. Eventually.

I also…oh, wait – that’s better left for the car page.
